Stanley Stellar Gallery Prints

The David Aden Gallery and FotoFactory Press are pleased to offer original prints from Stanley Stellar.

Each signed and numbered photograph is a Cibachrome, C-Print or Silver Gelatin made from the original negative or slide. These gallery quality prints are even more precious as only 50 prints will be made from each original.

Stanley Stellar was born and lives in New York City. His photographs about politics, sexuality and spirituality have been reproduced in numerous publications. His first book ?Stellar Men? was published in 1992. His work has been included in several anthologies including ?Uniforms? (FotoFactory Press, 1998), ?Male Bonding? (1996), ?Male Bonding Volume 2? (FotoFactory Press, 1998), and ?Beasts? (FotoFactory Press, 1997).

The subject of Stellar's photographs is often a narcissistic, self-occupied man performing intimate gestures in front of the photographer. Also in his portrayal of the erection, the last taboo, the innermost substance of the model becomes visible in the beauty of the sexual gesture, a projection outward of sexual longing.
